Falcon Art Lab- Collectively Organized Regional Events Open Call:
Fal-Core is a 1963 Ford Falcon Van that has been transformed into a mobile art lab by Bay Area artist Peter Foucault. The van was converted for this purpose to serve as a catalyst to create a series of public events that will include experimental music, performance art and video exhibitions.
Fal-Core is currently accepting video submissions for a series of 4 screenings that will take place in Oakland and San Francisco, CA in 2009-2010. These individual video screenings will be thematically curated based on materials received, and will be presented in an expandable theatre space that folds out from the van and will capacitate approximately 50-75 people.
For this video series we are looking for video pieces between 1-10 minutes. Please send your piece in Mini-DV or DVD format, and label with artist name, tile of piece, year, and length. Also include a current artist CV, Bio and SASE for return of work.
To have your work considered for this exhibition opportunity please mail your videos to the address below by Friday July 24, 2009 (post mark date). There is no fee for submitting work. If you have questions please e-mail me at email@example.com.
All content is welcome. If your work is selected you will be contacted by Friday July 31, 2009, and will be informed as to the time/place where your piece will be shown.
Thank you for your participation! Please send all materials to:
